  Important Announcement 10-16-11

Needle Delights, the Shop, has closed. I have decided to devote 100% of my time to Needle Delights Originals, my designing & publishing business. Items still available are being posted to the website. Click on the "closeout" items under the SALE ITEMS on the menu at left. Many of the models are for sale - click Models For Sale to see what is available.

It has been my great pleasure to assist you with your stitching needs. My family and I have appreciated your business over the last 19 years. It is bittersweet to close the shop’s doors but I look forward to creating and teaching new designs. You can follow me in my new adventures on my  Blog. I anticipate offering a new Mystery Design later this fall to begin in January

If you have any questions, please send an email to kathy@needledelights.com

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Hello and welcome to our website!
Needle Delights was founded in 1992 by John & Jeanette Rees in Gulf Breeze, Florida. Their goal, after living around the world as a military family was to combine the best of the needlework shops that they had visited throughout their years of traveling. They offered the best needlework specialty shop with a very diverse complete inventory of cross stitch & needlepoint. In 1993 they were joined by their daughter Kathy who moved to Florida from California where she had graduated from San Diego State University with a degree in Business Administration/Accounting. After working in the corporate world for a number of years, she was ready to pursue her dreams of having a small business and wanted to move closer to her family.
In 2004 Needle Delights was badly damaged by Hurricane Ivan and the shop was forced to close its doors. John & Jeanette decided to retire and moved to the mountains in North Carolina.  Kathy reopened the shop on her own in Pensacola early in 2005 and closed the shop in October 2011 to pursue her dream of designing, teaching, and traveling.
