RE: New Mirabilia & More
Sent: June 29, 2007
I just checked the Merchant Mall for the new releases this week and to my surprise, there's a new Mirabilia - November Topaz Fairie! I put a photo on the "New in the Shop" but it won't actually be here until Tuesday...let me know if you want to reserve one (or anything else). I also posted a few other photos. I especially love the Blue Ribbon Designs "My Precious Treasures". Rosewood Manor continues to release some fabulous designs for me personally - not really, but it feels like it! Her two new stockings have a "And a Forest Grew" feel to them and would be the perfect stockings for my parents in their new mountain home. They may come into the "To be stitched pile" along with my other Rosewood Manor designs. I broke down last weekend and started the massive ABC Tapestry - it's going to be a long project but beautiful and fun to stitch!
To the monthlies page, I've added the next two MiniKats from Calico Crossroads, the latest Scripture Threadpack, and a photo of the Birthday Birds pattern stitched - it's much cuter (of course!) than the computer generated photo on the pattern. Crescent Colours is also pleased to announce a new collaboration with Country Cottage Needleworks, called "Flower Cottages". Six designs in all, to be stitched separately or together, are delightful blends of color and design. Violet Cottage is the first in the series and will be released mid July. If you'd like to join this series, send me an email - they'll be $12/month plus $1.50 S&H. I saw previews of the first four designs at market and they are darling.
You'll notice a new face in the shop and a new voice on the phone - Tonia Wilson has joined us at Needle Delights and will be working several days a week. She's an avid stitcher and will be a wonderful asset to the shop. We said a sad goodbye to Terry a few weeks ago as she left to spend more time with her family and get some projects done. After five years, she's like a sister to me and I miss her. She'll be back though to continue getting her stitching supplies!
We'll be open regular hours on Tuesday July 3rd and Thursday July 5th next week - we'll only be closed for the Holiday on the 4th. We'll also have our regular stitching Tuesday night from 5:30 - 8:30pm - bring a needle and join us! Also, don't forget to reserve your spot at our Summer Stitch-in on Friday, July 13th!
Stop into the shop or give us a call if you need anything -
