Friday Update

Sent: July 27, 2007

Hi Stitchers!
TGIF!! The new patterns are up on the Merchant Mall - check them out by clicking on the link under the menu on the the left side of the homepage of the website http://www.needledelights.com There are some cute new patterns! I added lots to my order for early next week! Let me know if you "need" something new (or not so new from the Merchant Mall!). It'll all be here Tuesday.
For Friday Fun this week, Hoffman is featuring Prairie Schooler - check out the article about one of the companies that has been designing cross stitch for a LONG LONG time. In fact,my dad (did you know that Framer John cross stitches?!)has stitched their Santa every summer we've had the shop open. As soon as it arrives, I cut him a piece of fabric and he always gets it done to display at the Open House in August. In fact, he's stitching it right now - I had to mail it to him in North Carolina since he doesn't have a cross stitch store close by.
We've scanned a bunch of stuff to go up on the Limited Specials page and I'll be putting it up this weekend. Check out what's there right now before it disappears!

Did you know that you can see all our emails/newsletters on the website? Just click on "Newsletters" on the Menu and they are listed in date order. Just in case you miss something or want to read them again!
I hope that you'll get tohold a needle in your hand at some point this weekend. One of our customers told us at the Stitch-in that she'dtaken up cross stitch again about a month ago - we knew she'd been stitching a lot since she brought half a dozen completed works for "Show & Tell". She'd had some trouble with high blood pressure and had just been to the doctor - he told her her BP was down and to keep doing whatever she was doing. We all surmised that it was the relaxation of the stitching that had "calmed" her down and taken care of the blood pressure. So the moral of this story is that stitching can actually be a "prescription" for stress reduction!
Happy Stitching!
