Happy Friday Stitchers!
Whew, it's been a quick week here at the shop - I feel like a busy elf preparing for Christmas as we finalize plans for the Open House week after next! We're getting shipments in and it's so hard to keep them secret but we are! After the Open House is over, we'll post pictures and let you know what you missed if you can't make it into the shop. If you don't remember the dates are posted on the calendar on the website.
In the meantime, there are a few new things posted on the New Page on the website. There's a new designer Stacy Nash Primitives that I really like. Her designs look like they came from an antique shop - Tonia took one home to stitch and it looked so quick that I challenged her to bring it back finished tomorrow! I've also posted a few ornament sized needlepoint canvases that arrived this week - they're darling. I didn't post a photo but the new issue of the Just Cross Stitch magazine arrived today. It includes a preview of the ornament issue and there are six ornament patterns included that will have companions in the Ornament issue due to come next month. It just made me excited all over again about the ornament issue. I always love this time of year when so many fun things are happening in the stitching world!
I got a picture today of a Special Edition Christmas Kit from Lizzie Kate - It's called Ho Ho Ho and includes the linen, crescent colour threads, pattern and needle $28.95. You'll be able to see it at the Open House but if you'd like to reserve it sight unseen, send me an email. Their auto is shipping next week and I can't wait to see the rest of their designs.
The Merchant Mall has been updated for the week and I'll be ordering on Monday - let me know if you want to reserve anything!
