Friday Update & Stitch-In
Sent: November 30, 2007
Hi Stitchers -
Happy Friday! Tomorrow is our last Stitch-In of the year! We still have a few spots left if you haven't signed up but would like to come. Just call the shop to RSVP and make sure there's still room - 478-8898. We'll start stitching at four and the menu is soups, salad, bread, and dessert. Cost is $5.00 - we always have a blast so join us if you can!
The new books are posted in the Merchant Mall - the next Red Thread pattern is out and we'll have it in the shop next week. I'll update the website when our order arrives, probably on Tuesday. I also like the new patterns from Carriage House and SamSarah. The Baubles appear to be a monthly series and are very cute!
As tomorrow is December 1st, it's time to think about Christmas - some of you are done, some haven't begun to think about it, and most of you are somewhere in between! In the midst of your holiday shopping and scurrying about, remember to take a few moments for yourself with needle and thread. It's a proven method of stress relief and is sure to lower your blood pressure!
If you're still working on holiday gifts, be realistic about your time and don't make your stitching time stress you out. If you need some uninterrupted time, come to the shop on Tuesday, Dec 4th and 18th for our Open Stitching from 5:30 to 8:30. The shop will be open late these nights as well, if you need to do some holiday shopping or send someone in to shop for YOU! If you'd like to fill out a "Needle Delights WishList" and register yourself, feel free to come in or send us an email. We'd also be happy to contact your Loved Ones by phone or email, if you want to provide that info. Gift Certificates are available in any denomination and we are happy to sell them over the phone or email and mail them out. Nothing could be more simple!
Watch for a few emails next week - I'll be making some changes to the website. I think I'm finally back from vacation and the month of November which brought a visit from my parents, Thanksgiving, and this week I had one of the most fun birthdays I've had in a long time.
Happy Stitching! Come see all the goodies we have in the shop!
