RE: Friday Update & Framing & More
Sent: March 28, 2008
Hi Stitchers!
It's Friday again - the week has seemed long and short to me. I had a slight cold for a few days and I'm over it now but feel like I lost some hours! I am almost done stitching "Amethyst", the third in my "Jewels & Gemstones" Collection. I scanned it and put a sneak peek on the website under Needle Delights Originals. See it and my others at
I added new titles to the New in the Shop and a couple of new Laura Perin designs to the New Counted Needlepoint pages on the website.

Save the Dates!
April 16-21 is the Online Needlework Show where you get to "attend" a needlework market and tell me what I should buy! More details to come but set some time aside to browse. This show gets bigger and bigger every time they do it and is a fun one! If you want to see who will be there, take a look at the list of vendors at
Saturday, May 3rd is the next Stitch-In. 4pm - midnight
The frame shop is up and running - we've received a lot more corner samples this week and now have a good selection of frames for you to choose from. Liz is completing her training with Framer John as I type and has done a beautiful job framing my Tanzanite and Rose Quartz. I'm sure she'll be staying busy!
Spring Break is upon us here in Pensacola and the surrounding area - if you need to keep a child busy next week, bring them in to pick out a beginner's kit and teach them to stitch! We have a great selection right now for all ages. If you don't have the patience to teach a little one, call me to schedule a private appointment. It's a regular class for me and we need to pass our passion for stitching on to the next generations.
Don't forget our Bookmark Challenge - this is a great item for kids to stitch too! We've got lots of easy patterns to choose from and I'll have free patterns in the shop this weekend.
Hope you'll get to use a needle and thread this weekend!
