RE: Online Show & More
Sent: April 16, 2008
Hi Stitchers –
I’m back from a fabulous vacation (a Quilt Retreat in Amish Land!) and excited about all the new happenings here at the shop. I’ve posted the new patterns on the website that came in last week http://www.needledelights.com/index.php/photos/18.html
Liz is framing away and our new computerized mat cutter is awesome. Bring in your stitching or photos or anything else you need framed – she’ll be glad to assist you in making your selections.
My three new needlepoint designs in the “Jewels & Gemstones” Collection have been well received and my distributor ordered them while I was gone last week. I’m almost finished stitching the first design in my “Food” (still to be named) Collection – it’s called Peach Melba and I will probably set up a two session class to teach this one since I’ve done a few different things with the Watercolors in it – stay tuned for more info.
This afternoon, the Online Needlework Show starts. It opens today at 2pm EDT (1pm our time in Pensacola!). This is YOUR opportunity to go with me to a tradeshow and look at all the wares! The show closes on Monday, April 21st - you will have five whole days to shop and place your orders! If you’ve participated in the “Virtual Shows”, you already know how fun it was! If not, be sure to browse the pages. For me personally, it's great to be able to shop in my pjs over the weekend and not have to sleep in a strange bed with aching feet from walking the tradeshow floor 10 hours a day! Once the show opens, I’ll browse myself and send out an email with my top picks. Feel free to email me with any orders anytime until Monday afternoon. You can also order anything from someone’s website. All orders will be placed on Monday evening but it really helps me to get them early.
Here’s a link to the list of vendors who will be participating:
I’m starting to think/plan a Winter Stitching Retreat at Pensacola Beach for Feb 2009 – please email me to let me know if this is something I should pursue. If there’s not enough interest, I’ll have to think of another event! Let me know what you might be interested in.
Don't forget the Stitch-In May 3rd! Let us know if you're planning to come or have any questions.
Hope your needles are flying!
