Hi Stitchers -
Happy Friday - Plans are in high gear for our 16th Annual Holiday Open House next month - I hope you have it on your calendar! Check the website calendar for details. Plans are also under way for the Retreat in October - it's less than three months away now! For those of you who were interested in coming but not staying over, there's now a "Daytripper" option for you - come spend a day unwinding at Camp Beckwith on Saturday, October 11th. The Needle Fair “Day Tripper” fee of $65 includes: Admittance to the Retreat, Stitcher’s Goodie Bag,Lunch, one “Retreat Project”, exclusive “Needle Delights Boutique” shopping, doorprizes and more.
Registration is available on a first come, first serve basis. We will take a limited number of people so if you want to come, please get your registration and payment in right away. You can find the registration form in the newsletter at http://www.needledelights.com/index.php/pages/mailed-newsletter.html - there's lots of other great stuff in this six page document - download and read it at your leisure! The first page has information about our sale in the shop next week - I'll send out an email Tuesday with more details about the Sale that goes from Wednesday, July 23rd through Saturday, July 26th.
I've updated the "What's New" page for you - I was especially excited to see the Annual Ornament patterns from Homespun Elegance! I even started stitching the Santa last night for myself - it fits me to a T! There's three new charts from Workbasket and a new Victorian Cottage from Nancy Spruance - it's nice to see something new from her!
There are lots of new framed pieces in the Framing gallery - Liz has been keeping busy! I’ve changed the Framing Gallery to a page that will have the pieces listed in date order – I think you’ll like it better!
http://www.needledelights.com/index.php/pages/framing%20gallery.html Until I get things moved, the older ones are still at:
One of my customers stitched my Amethyst piece on Congress Cloth with Waterlilies instead of the Watercolours and it came out darling – I’ve posted a photo in ND Originals – you’ll still have to scroll down to “Amethyst”. My mom also finished the pillow for the lady who made it bigger – the photo is also there.
Don't forget to check the Merchant Mall later this afternoon for previews of what's coming next week. In the meantime, keep the needle flying!
Since I'm sending this out early in the day, the UPS man is bound to bring more great stuff but it'll go on next week's update! Come see us this weekend if you can – it’s July and time to start on the holiday stitching, if you haven’t already!
