Online Needlework Show - Long & Newsy
Sent: September 28, 2008
Hi Stitchers -
If you've been in the shop this past week (and a lot of you have!), you know it's been wild and crazy. We've fallen into autumn and are already experiencing some wonderfully cool mornings. It seems really early this year and is very helpful in getting us in the mood for holiday stitching. With the online show this weekend and the retreat coming up quickly, I'm not finding time to update the website. You can view the latest patterns through the Merchant Mall though and also at NordenCrafts. We're ordering all the time and likely to have what you want or include it with our next order.
If you haven't gone to The Online Needlework Show, you still have time. It's wonderful to shop online from the comfort of your home at any hour of the day or night, in work clothes, cleaning clothes, pajamas, etc. My kitties are especially happy that I can work from home at this tradeshow - they missed me while I was in St Louis! The show closes at noon on Monday, Sept 29th.
Here's the link to the show: http://www.needleworkshow.com/index.html
We WILL NEED TO KNOW the item number (if given), the Name of the Item, and the Designer or Company Name (so we know where to order it from). **If you are browsing the designer's "website" as well and see something there that isn't on their "on-line show items" listing, let us know .. we can order 'that' for you as well! Please order from us and not direct from a designer's website - that takes business from us and business is what keeps our doors open for you to come shopping!
Please get your orders to me by 5pm on Monday so I can get all my orders placed. On the flip side, I will have to start shipping my designs to the shops that order from me - yes, I'm excited to report that I've received some orders for Needle Delights Originals patterns! Of course, if there's something of mine that you'd like to order, we already have it in stock at the shop (except Garden Path which will be released no later than Oct 15th). You can pre-order it now. We'll also be kitting it (it has 13 Watercolours and 2 Metallics).
To place your order, email us at firstname.lastname@example.org. You can also put the Needlework Market items you wish to order in the COMMENTS section via the Contact Us form on the website http://www.needledelights.com
****Due to some companies having a Minimum Order Requirement for us to meet before we can place the order, we will try as hard as we can to get everything you wish but cannot guarantee we will be able to. We've been stymied in the past with this, but try to combine orders with other shops if we can to meet the order minimum so that you can get what you want. So, if you should place your order after the 5pm deadline on the 29th, we cannot guarantee you will receive your order in a timely manner, or that we will even be able to place that order for you.
Here are my show picks and the companies I plan to order from for sure - I will order from others though so just let me know what you want!
Annie Beez Folk Art (New Designer)
Brenda Kocher (counted canvaswork)
Cat's Whiskers - lots of holiday themed kitty patterns like the Halloween fob that has sold like crazy!
Cinnamon Cat - a design company in the UK - I've been wanting to order from them in the past but their shipping prices were so high. They've offered a show special for free shipping so order something from them and get 15% off the price). If nobody orders, I'll know I'm the only one who thinks these are really cute!
Cross Eyed Cricket - Always a favorite - make sure to check out the stitched model of Skeleton Crew in the shop!
DebBee's Designs (counted canvaswork)
Designs by Lisa - her "You put the Razzle in my Dazzle" made me smile and think of all of you!
Erica Michaels - she's starting a line of patterns stitched on silk gauze - I saw them in St Louis and love the stuff she's "previewing"!
European Cross Stitch - we always order from them - lots of european designers are represented
Fern Ridge - Beaded (peyote stitch) scissor fobs, etc
Flying Needles - makers of the now famous "Tacky Bob" and some other cool accessories
From Nancy's Needle - (counted canvaswork)
Funk & Weber - I roomed with this designer at the St Louis show and we had a great time. Her pieces are classic, timeless, and she's got some great bookmarks. She's the designer who started the ThREAD for Literacy program that we participate in.
Historic Stitches - SCISSOR & HALLOWEEN JUNKIES - Check out the witch's hat scissor case!!!!!
Ink Circles - Another show favorite, we always get orders for their patterns.
JBW - One of our favorite designers, I brought a lot of these patterns home from St Louis.
Kelmscott - Another show favorite, her new scissors are really pretty.
My Big Toe - I already have a long list! Patterns & accessories.
Northern Pine (counted canvaswork)
Stitch-A-Gift - great prefinished items for you to easily "finish" your stitching into something with no sewing!
Stitching Pretty Presents
Whispered by the Wind
As you can see by the list, I'll be busy Monday night!
Email me with your orders and/or questions! I'll be checking email all weekend.
Thanks for all your support, orders, and kind comments. You really do put the Razzle in my Dazzle and I couldn't do it all without you!
