Friday Update

Sent: November 7, 2008

Hi Stitchers!

It's a rainyFriday afternoon here inNorthwest FL - there's a slight, very slight cool in the air and it feels like stitching weather to me.We hadadelightful biscornuclass here this afternoonand my students went home with a finished project -what fun!

I've updated the website with What'sNewand am still wanting to stitch everything from last week. The list just keeps getting longer! Working on my own designs is keeping me from my cross stitch but not for too much longer. I'm almost ready to release another "Destination" (Sierra) and will teach it in January. People who have seen it in progress have made kind comments and I'm hoping to debut it on the website next week.

It's time to sign up for the last Stitch-In of the year on December 6th. This will be a Christmas party and the food will be potluck. Attendance is $5.00 and we'll be exchanging Christmas ornaments (optional but fun if you participate). We'll also be collecting canned goods for the food bank - you can bring those in from Dec 1st to Dec 6th whether you attend the stitch-in or not. I expect the seats to sell out so please register ASAP if you want to come. Your payment is considered your registration.

WE WILLNOT HAVE STITCHING ON TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 18th because I will be out of town.

If you're making plans for the Thanksgiving weekend, we will be closed on Nov 27th for Thanksgiving but will be open regular hours on Friday & Saturday, Nov 28th & 29th. Come help me celebrate my birthdayFriday the 28th - did you know I was born on Thanksgiving??!

You can now see most of the Tuesday Tidbitsby clicking on the "Articles" link on the Main Menu of the website.

Have a great week and stitch a lot!
