Friday Update

Sent: December 12, 2008

Hi Stitchers!

I've updated the What's New page on the website - there's not much but I am excited that I have a new release! "Sierra" is my latest creation and the charts and kits are ready for you to order! I've also scheduled two class dates in January - see the Calendarfor details. Signups are now accepted and yes, you can choose different colors, if you'd like.

Tomorrow is the last day to bring indonations for our food drive for Manna - the barrel is full and overflowing but we still have room for more. Thank you to all who've participated.

I've started to fill the 2009 calendar with the dates for ongoing classes and our Stitching Nights. Tomorrow I'll add the Quarterly Stitch-ins and look at the "Friday the 13th" availability next year for the Special Stitchins! I've scheduled the Holiday Open House earlier than usual in August in the hopes we won't be dealing with any weather issues (I don't want to type the "H" word...). The retreat dates are also on the calendar and I have a signed contract so you can put them down as firm.

HOLIDAY HOURS REMINDER
The shop will be closed Wednesday, Dec 24th - Saturday, Dec 27th for the Christmas Holiday. I will be going up to North Carolina to be with family and celebrate Lindsey's First Christmas! I will be happy to be open on Monday, Dec 22nd if there are any requests for "appointments" or if I get enough emails from people planning to come. I'll let you know closer to the date. The shop will be open Tuesday, Dec 30 from 10-5 (regular hours) and Wednesday, Dec 31st from 9-2. We're closing early on the 31st to count everything! If you've attended the inventory partyin past years and want to come again, please RSVP asap. If you're interested in attending and helping count all the threadsand stuff, let me know!

Kathy
