Happy New Year!

Sent: January 3, 2009

Hi Stitchers –
Happy New Year! I'm happy to report that I started the New Year off healthy! I feel 200% better and am back to my old self, only rested & relaxed instead of tired & stressed! As a good friend said at dinner last night, "I believe that 2009 will be fine!"

Getting back to a normal schedule seems to be what everyone is looking forward to next week! Routines will return and so here we go. I've spent some time cleaning up the website some this morning and changed the New Pages some. There's a new page for January (yes, we already have a few new items in the shop!) and some of the older New pages are gone. I'm starting to add items to the e-site and will let you know soon when you can view them that way. For now, click New-Jan 09 to see What's New this week.

Our regular stitching nights remain the same this year. Every 1st and 3rd Tuesday we stitch from 5:30 to 8:00 - very informal, very casual, very fun. We love having new people so please bring a project & join us. Our first stitch night is next Tuesday, Jan 6th and I expect a crowd!

Our first Stitch-In of the year will be a special "Friday the 13th" Stitch-In on February 13th from 5-10pm. Since I go to the Nashville Market the weekend before, there are sure to be some cool doorprizes and of course, you'll get to see TONS of new stuff. In fact, with Nashville only 5 weeks away, you'll start seeing previews here & there. If you see anything you know you can't live without, let me know and I'll be sure to pick it up for you (I love being YOUR Personal Shopper!). I'd also appreciate hearing from you if you think you're interested because then I'd be sure to take the time to see it. It's tough to get around to all the vendors at market because of limited time so do send me emails about anything. Reservations being taken now for the Stitch-In (We max out at 30 so don't delay signing up if you want to come). $5.00 Admission includes dinner, dessert, drinks, and doorprizes. Your payment is your reservation.

I've changed the date of the first Sierra classes to the 22nd and 24th of January - please come in soon to sign up and choose colors if you're interested. For more info on this Counted Canvas class, click here.

Liz has quit working at the shop as she & her Navy husband will soon move to their next duty station. I am looking for someone to work in the shop 2-4 days per week, processing orders, helping customers, etc, etc. I'm also looking for someone who might be interested in doing framing part time. If you're interested in working in the shop, please come in and fill out an application or give me a call at 478-8898.

Please feel free to forward this newsletter to your stitching friends and encourage them to sign up for our eNewsletter! I'm trying to increase my readership and appreciate your assistance. It's all of you who share the word that help me keep the doors open!

Looking forward to sending you Tuesday Tidbits next week - I thought of a great topic while I was stitching Christmas week!
Have a Stitchy Weekend!
