Friday Update

Sent: March 13, 2009

Hi Stitchers -

TGIF - the birds were chirping away this morning and it's feeling very "springy" here in northwest Florida. We've rearranged some displays in the shop and have lots of spring, easter, and pastels to tempt you. New stuff continues to come in and I'll update more next week - some of you may still be perusing the newsletter! Thanks for all your nice emails and comments - it's wonderful to have the feedback.

I'm excited about the response we're already getting for the Bookmark Challenge -if you have achance, come by and stitch for a little bit tomorrow or at least pick up a free pattern that I designed (it's a Pensacola Lighthouse bookmark). It's free to people who come in tomorrow but after that it will be $2.50 with part of the proceeds going toLearn To Read of Northwest Florida, Inc. (ClickHereForMoreInfoOnLTRofNWFL).

To participate, you can stitch ANY bookmark - we are donating to the library for Children's Book Week so in choosing your design, think about what a child would enjoy. If you want to stitch for adults, I will donate those bookmarks with the proceeds from the bookmark pattern to Learn to Read of Northwest Florida, Inc.

In case you missedtheemail earlier this week, here's the link to the page where you can download theSpringNewsletter.

Here's the link to the BookmarkChallengeArticle.

Best Stitches!
