Hi Stitchers -

Happy Spring! It's official today - spring has sprung on the calendar! It's a beautiful day here in NW Florida and I wish I were outside enjoying the sunshine. I may have to stitch outdoors this weekend.

We have lots of new goodies in the shop - too many because I want to stitch A LOT of them!! I love the new Victoria Sampler "Southern Garden" - Thea based it on her trip to Savannah. I had a wonderful vacation there once so I think that's why I like this one so much. The Jim Shore snowman kits are darling - there's one for every part of the country. See these and more at What'sNew.

I did finish up Emerald this week and posted a photo on the new page. The patterns are in the shop now and I've already pulled purple threads for somebody wanting a different colorway. If you like the design but green isn't a favorite color, think about going with another color or even go with stuff from your stash and make it scrappy - I'd like to do this myself but I'm off to another design now!

Yesterday was the official start of the bookmark challenge and we've already received a few bookmarks - YEAH! To participate, you can stitch ANY bookmark - we are donating to the library for Children's Book Week so in choosing your design, think about what a child would enjoy. If you want to stitch for adults, I will donate those bookmarks with the proceeds from the bookmark pattern to Learn to Read of Northwest Florida, Inc. Deadline for turning in bookmarks is May 7th so you have plenty of time!
