Hi Stitchers -
Although I've heard it said the days of summer are lazy, it sure doesn't seem that way around here! The store has been jumping, deliveries coming in, orders going out, summer tourists visiting, etc, etc. I've updated the website for you and the links to various places are below.
In Coming Soon, we have a new design of Limited Edition Gingher scissors called Elena. They look beautiful. Reserve now by ordering through the e-store (no need to make a payment until they actually come in).
We received a lot of new patterns this week and some of them are really calling out to be put into my current stitching rotation. There's a new company called "The Stitcherhood" and they have some really fun patterns. Lizzie Kate's auto just arrived today and Mirabilia has a new mermaid called Mediterranean Mermaid. We've already pulled the threads and she promises to be much more beautiful than the photos. She's stitched on a fabric color called "Star Sapphire" which is a very light teal color and doesn't photograph well at all. I learned how to put different pricing options in the e-store so you can order the different pieces and parts you'd like. Fun stuff from Shepherds Bush, Notforgotten Farm, and more - check it out at
We've sold so many Stitcher's Nail Files I had to order more. There were more designs to choose from and we got a great assortment in this week. I've put them in the E-store and you can see them at NailFiles. These high quality salon nail files are popular with everyone, even the non-stitcher. Give one to someone who you'd like to receive a Gift Certificate from so they have all our information at their fingertips (our address, website, email, store hours, etc are on the backside of the nail file).
I'll leave you with a sentiment from one of the new Stitcherhood charts, "I cannot count my day complete till needle, thread, and fabric meet." This could be one of my personal mottos!
Stay cool - stay inside and stitch this weekend! It's a scorcher here in Pensacola!
