It's delicious, especially if you mix it with blueberry pie made fresh by Debbie Douma who even went and picked the blueberries herself!
Yesterday, while the shop was closed, Tonia & Rebecka performed their own special version of "While You Were Out". I came into an almost unrecognizable, newly decorated, spacious shop filled with lots of stuff I haven't looked at in awhile! They moved furniture, threads, and so much more. I took a few photos and put them up on the website for you to take a "tour" yourself. ShopTour
On the personal front, I have a friend who rescued some kittens and is having a hard time placing them. If anyone is interested in adopting a sweet black kittie, email me and I'll email you photos. They are adorable but Boots hisses when I just come home smelling like another animal - I'm not sure what he'd do if I brought another cat into his domain. Luckily, Samantha came with him - otherwise I'd be a one cat only household!
Don't forget the Summer Online Showcase - if you missed the last email, I've put up an Article about it with all the details at Showcase.
I'll leave you today with a photo of something I stitched over the weekend - it's from the new designer, "The Stitcherhood" and the pattern is called "Stitcher's Sampler". This picture is the front of the pattern -
and this picture below is my stitched piece
I used linen and Kelp Waterlilies. I love the sentiment and as you can probably see from the photo, I need to trim some threads on the back so they don't show through before I have Tonia frame it!
Until Friday, dear friends (as my friend Alma says!),
