Hi Stitchers -
We're having a wonderful Open House and we've had a great time seeing so many old friends and watching everybody enjoy themselves here in the shop last night and all day today. Tomorrow is the last day for you to come in and see all the Open House displays - Monday, we'll be putting the Framing/Class room back to it's normal self and moving things around again - it really never stops here!
The Primitive Needle Trunk Show will stay around for a few more weeks if you're sorry you are missing it. The Trunk Show from Desiging Women will also be here the entire month of August. They have a variety of items including hand painted needlepoint canvases, accessory/gift type items and some cool metallic ribbon thread from YLI - I felt the desiging urges when I saw it as it's new to me!! This is also the company we get the Magnetic Animal Needle Holders from and we're offering a special price on them for the Trunk Show. If you're not familiar with them, I'll be posting photos and more details next week (after I've recovered from the weekend events!).
We did get new patterns in this week as well as a number of other things. I will get them on the web next week. My favorite - Blackbird has a new pincushion pattern (I've done 12 "x"s so far on it!) and the new Loose Feathers pattern is pretty as well - our entire order is gone and we'll order more next week.
