Friday Update

Sent: August 28, 2009

Hi Stitchers -

It's been a great week - autos from Just Nan & Lizzie Kate have arrived and are on the website under NewThisWeekI love Nan's new "Counting Bats" Halloween sampler and the auto from LK includes her Santa 2009, Tiny Tidings ornaments, and lots more.

I've finally had/taken the time to update the Framing Gallery - it's been such a long time there is a lot for you to see! The first photo up is of my current Mystery - I'm teaching the last class of it tomorrow and have named it "19 Stars". The pattern will be available for those of you who have decided you'd like to stitch it.
We're still taking reservations for the Stitch-In on Saturday, September 12th from 4-midnight. If you'd like to come, the cost is $5.00 and includes dinner & dessert - we're doing salads again because we seem to really enjoy them.  If you'd like to bring a dessert, please let me know.

The online Pattern Sale continues - check out the limited specials - don't delay or you may miss out! It has already happened to some. I've deleted all the "sold" items so it's current as of today!  Of course, you can come in and browse these patterns and more in our "Bargain Basement Room". SALE!!

There are still a few weeks to sign up for the next Mystery Needlepoint - We had someone sign up a friend as a gift this week - what a great idea! Sign up anytime, the payment is not required until September 15th. Tahiti is still the favorite colorway but the Red/Coral option has been popular too this week.

Don't forget the Primitive Needle Trunk Show - it'll be here through the weekend. We also have a consignment order of the little mahogany and ivory animal needle holders in the shop - they make great gifts and we've sold a ton of them.  The special Trunk Show price through next week is $20 (regularly $23.95).

Deadlines - The deadline to bring things in for Finishing (stockings, bellpulls, pillows) is October 1st. The deadline for Christmas Framing is December 1st. Now's the time to make sure you're on track to get those projects done in time for the holidays. Tonia has already been framing some holiday gifts...

That's it for this week. Hope you're stitching...
Kathy
