Hi Stitchers –
I’ve just spent a couple of hours browsing the show and here are my comments/highlights. There are a lot of great things here – I saw a lot of it at market just a couple of weeks ago so we already have things on hand. There are new things just for this show too. I’m happy to order whatever you like, even from the companies I haven’t “spotlighted” – these are in alphabetical order so read on or just go browse the show to discover things on your own! I’ve done the first two columns and will do the last in the morning (this listing is in alphabetical order).
Be sure to sign up for doorprizes along the way…read what they ask for though – I’m surprised at the emails I’ve been getting for Needle Delights Originals doorprizes where people obviously haven’t taken the time to read what I’ve requested. BagSmith/Sajou - Cool, different scissors, thread cards, thread organizers and more; imported from France. We’ve had some of these items in the shop and they are really nice.
Blackberry Lane – cute needlework smalls – fun gift items to stitch; a fairly new designer to Needle Delights; we do have some of their patterns in the shop
Brenda Kocher Designs - Counted canvas designed for 18 count canvas, 24 Count Congress Cloth and 40 count silk gauze
Brooke’s Books – whimsical cross stitch on perforated paper
Carousel Charts– cute, quick Christmas designs and more. Order something from this company and get a free chart from them for “Silent Night” Christmas design
Cherished Stitches – New “Quaker Halloween” introduced at this show…lots of great motifs to do smaller projects as well.
CherryWood Design Studios - “Stuck Santa” was one of my favorite new charts from market. Quirky and quick to stitch, it tickled my funny bone!
Crabapple – Mostly embroidery (and quilting), we have some of these patterns in the shop and they work up beautifully – we can order anything they have.
Cross-Stitch Art – non traditional cross stitch – we usually order from this company during the Online Show – they have an interesting world map, a motorcycle design, several celtic patterns, and more
DebBee’s Designs – Counted needlepoint charts and some cross stitch too; always a popular pick
Debbie Draper Designs – Sampler inspired cross stitch and whimsical line of cat patterns; another designer we’re pretty familiar with
Dessins DHC – French company with a French designer – I already have orders to place from them – check them out! You can also take a look at their website.
Dinky Dyes – Great overdyed silks, fun new Floral Scissors (the pile I brought home from market is almost gone!), and patterns from The Cat’s Whiskers; another place I’ll definitely order from
Drawn Thread – first time at the Online Show, I’m very familiar with The Drawn Thread as I’ve stitched several of their patterns and they are some of my personal favorites stitched with silk on linen with different stitches – they are a pleasure to stitch; check out their new designs – we already have some in the shop
Dutch Treat – Tabletopper patterns and fabric as well as some of the best traditional “Home Sweet Home” and “Welcome” type patterns
European Cross Stitch – lots of European designers and another company I always order from at this show – let me know what you’d like.
Fern Ridge – beaded fobs and more – lots of new at this show
French Needle – another French designer- minimum is somewhat high but I already have some orders so this is a great opportunity for you to order what you’d like
Gittas – 5 new designs at this Show – all full stitches so you can cross stitch or needlepoint these designs.
Glory Bee – Fun sayings, these charts sell well in our shop.
Handblessings – I’ll definitely be ordering – the “Hooked On …” patterns with the charms are very popular. We order, we sell, we order, we sell, it’s time to order again! They stitch up quickly and make great gifts. Be sure to see all of them on their website – the show has just a small selection.
Heart’s Content - The queen of stitching over one on tiny linens, in my opinion. Always one of my favorite booths to drool over at market in person…
Historic Stitches – I really like their Christmas ornaments…
Hob Nobb Designs – Another popular item in the shop, we’re needing to reorder so this is a great time to get what you want – they also make great stocking stuffers for stitcher friends – wrap one in a scrap of linen for a “Green Gift”. You can order just singles and not the sets
Images Stitchery – some interesting wood products; I haven’t seen them before in person though…
In the Company of Friends - Elegant gifts for those who love needlework. Etui's, Boxes, Books, Thread Palettes, Puzzle Piece Thread Winders, Quick Start Sets, Note cards, Bookplates, Bookmarks, Finishing Labels, Pin Keeps, and Wearable Pins– I always seem to place an order here too
Ink Circles – another popular company I always order from at the show and reorder from during the year; several designers are represented; several beautiful new titles at this show
JBW Designs – a favorite at Needle Delights; I brought home her new designs from market; my favorite is the Snow Globe
Kelmscott Designs – Lots to see; New Needle Minders, Mother of Pearl items, scissors and she’s now representing Plum Street Samplers – the new “Paradise Lost” sampler was stunning at market
Ladybug Designs– Fine art in cross stitch – the Picasso Rooster someone asked me about the other day is at this booth! I’ll be ordering…
Lavender Wings – another company I always place an order with; the list is already started
Lillipoints – Another French company. I love their designs but never get orders – must be something a little too different??
Marking Samplar – New 12 Days of Christmas ornaments, project bags, and more
Milady’s Needle– another ND favorite – I brought her new things home from market
Monsterbubbles – fun quirky designs – I usually get orders…
My Big Toe Designs – Always an order – check out her two new titles and the cool beaded needle threaders (we already have these in the shop and you can get two for $10)
Needle Delights Originals - don’t think I need to go here but do check out Tahiti! It’s at the printers now and will be ready the first of the week. It’s already selling well…thanks!
Needle News – New Orleans charts, great Hurricane Tracking charts – check this vendor out because she’s my friend and she’ll deliver my charts in person next week and more importantly, she’s got great designs!
The Needle’s Notion, The - the Snowball Garland is cute and the Carrot Cake needlepoint looks interesting…
Nordic Needle – do you know that you can order anything Nordic Needle offers from us – we carry a lot of the same things and we’re happy to save you the postage when you pick up your orders in the shop
