Good Morning Stitchers!
I’m up early and have finished browsing the show - I hope you enjoy the show and discover something new or something you can’t live without! To place an order, please email us at email@example.com with the company name & pattern/item name and order number if there is one. Also let me know if it’s something you found on their website and not on the show page. You can also call the shop to place your order or print out the pages and bring them into the shop – it’s very possible we already have what you want! If you’ve not ordered from us before, we’ll call you to get your payment info. We’re easy to work with and we’d like to be your “local needlework shoppe” if you don’t already have one!
Please place your orders by 6pm (Eastern time) Monday, October 12th so I have time to get all my orders done by the end of the show. If you miss this deadline, we can order again but this deadline is especially important for the international vendors as S&H can sometimes be more than the actual charts!
Here are my comments on the rest of the show:
Northern Pines - charted canvaswork (needlepoint) designs – we carry some of these in the shop already
Nouveau Encore Designs – New to me, this company has some great designs including trees made up of names to honor military services and other occupations – check them out – I’ll definitely be ordering!
Olde Willow Stitchery Threads - Reproduction samplers
Plum Pudding – Another popular designer at ND – lots of cute Christmas designs plus more
Praiseworthy Stitches – The new “Black Cat Manor” looks fun and I like the Peace tree ornament! Another designer we regularly carry.
Primitive Traditions - antique samplers from her personal collection as well as original works and stitching accessories – great stuff & some we’ve had before
Puffin & Co – one of my best “finds” at market and something I was saving for the “Retreat Boutique” – being here in this show stole my “surprise”. Anyway, I have a large box of these items already packed but know I’ll probably have to order more. Let me know what you’d like! It’s all wonderful!
Rishfeld Designs - Hand Painted Needlework Canvases as well as Judaic Cross-Stitch
Sampler Girl – Simple cross stitch designs that appeal to me personally – I’m actually in the middle of stitching “A Wonderful Life” – it’s on the bottom row.
Scarlet Quince - Charts based on fine art, ancient to modern – all whole stitches!
Sekas & Co – A popular cross stitch company that also has needlepoint that is quick and fun to stitch.
Stickideen von der Wiehenburg – German company specializing in Quakers, Spot Motif or Band Samplers – I’d love to stitch one of these
Stitching Parlor - newest designs are "Fall Biscornu and Tape Measure", "A Lady's Keepsakes Box" and "Fanny's Treasures"
Stitching Pretty Presents – Eclectic group of designs from a group of designers – I always place an order with them too – Quaker Virtues continues to be very popular and one of our customers stitched this fabulous piece.
Stitching Studio – Interesting & unusual animal patterns
Sue Hillis - a popular designer for over 30 years, Sue Hillis has a little of everything and her charts are easy to read and great for everyday and occasions; her new “Big Men & Small Boys” has a wonderful sentiment
Sweetheart Tree – The new stuff is in the shop already!
Threaded Needle – peyote stitch and beadweaving bead patterns and bead kits; organizers
Uncommon Scissors – the name says it all – if you’re a scissor seeker, look no further!
With My Needle - samplers and unique sewing cases, needlework accessories – another of my personal favorite designers
X’s & Oh’s – an eclectic group of designs & their new “Spooky House” has been very popular
Zecca - Last but not least! Zecca has fabulous handpainted needlepoint canvases as well as very cool (and fun & useful too!) accessories for needle artists of all kinds
That’s it for this year!
Please do not order directly from the designers’ websites – we don’t “get credit” and we can’t keep our doors open without your business. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us via email or phone. Thanks for helping me make this a great show!
