Hi Stitchers -
I hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving yesterday. We've been busy in the shop all day today but I snuck into my office this afternoon and updated the website with "What's New this Week" - see it all at NewThisWeek. The last two weeks I've seen so much that I'd like to stitch myself. I've always wanted to do a "12 Days of Christmas" and the new Victoria Sampler pattern is calling to me - I'm going to use it for my 2010 Monthly Project. I also will be adding this year's Cinnamon Stick Santa from Homespun Elegance to my stitching basket - it's stitched on 7 ct fabric and I've been making a Santa from this series every year since I moved to Florida. I'll probably save it for my car trip to Nashville in February - it's easy on the eyes.
If you like samplers, check out the offerings from "Tree of Life Samplings. I think this is a new designer - I've not heard of them before seeing these patterns.
Little House Needleworks has started an "Ornament of the Month" series and we have the first pattern in the shop now. You can see Ornament #2 at their website and get the supply lists - click LHN ornament to go their website. We're doing an Auto so let us know if you'd like to sign up for the series to get them as they are released. You may also purchase them individually. If you browse their website and see anything else you'd like, chances are good we have it in stock or can order for you.
Don't forget to sign up for the Holiday Stitch-in next Saturday, December 5th. We still have space but reservations are a must.
Holiday Hours - We're going to stay open more than usual this month during the Holidays as the calendar permits us to do our scheduling a little differently this year.
We will be closed Thursday & Friday, December 24th & 25th. We will be OPEN the day after, December 26th. We will be open the week between Christmas & New Year's but will close early on Thursday, Dec 31st to "Count the Inventory". I thought some of you who travel to Pensacola would like to come in the day after Christmas!
The shop will be closed on Friday, January 1st but shopping will be allowed at the New Years Day Party/Stitch-A-Long from 1-5pm. I'll write all about this Event/Club for 2010 in next week's Tuesday's Tidbits.
Until then, may your thread and needle meet!
Stop by tomorrow and say Happy Birthday to me - I was born on Thanksgiving Day ?? years ago but this year my bday falls on Saturday!
