The latest from Mill Hill arrived this week. The Festival of Trees Charmed Ornaments, Winter Holiday Collection of Ornaments, and the Winter Series of Buttons & Beads kits– you can see them all on the website under NewThisWeek
If you missed the Newsletter last week, click Newsletter to download this 12 page "document". There's a lot to see in it and we have everything in the shop now (except for what has already sold out and has been reordered!).
The Color of the Month Thread Lovers Club will return June 1st.
This special TLC Club includes a variety of threads each month with a retail value of $20-25 for only $18 per month (plus $2.00 postage). These threads will be chosen by me to coordinate with each other and could be used in one project. The rest of the TLC Clubs will be returning July 1st with details to come in a couple of weeks.
I will continue to design the Color Delights series which will use the COM thread kits. I actually have a list of more than 50 Color Names so I’m confident I’ll be able to do quite a few more! I'm also working on a "Borders" and a larger project to combine Color Delights patterns.
A Color Delights pattern will be released each month and you can elect to be on “Automatic” for them – with or without the threads. Members in the TLC COM and on Auto for the Color Delights patterns will receive canvas FREE. We are starting new Records so you must email or call me to sign up. If you’re local, we must have your credit card on file and will charge you on the 1st of each month for pickup at your convenience. The COM for June is “Bubblegum Pink” and we have the thread kits ready to go out. If you want to sign up but already have Color Delights: Bubblegum, just let us know you want to start with July. The COM for July will be Indigo – I’m happy to report I’ve already designed and stitched it! You won’t get to see it for a few weeks though!
Although it’s a Holiday Weekend, it’s business as usual around here hours wise. Our regular days closed are Sunday and Monday. I usually feel cheated on holidays because I don't get a day off but this year I'm taking a holiday!
I am happy to report I’ll be having a long weekend out of town starting Sunday! I have eight hours of ride time in the car on Sunday and another eight on Wednesday to get back home so I’m planning my stitching projects – you’d think I had two months of stitching time the way my mind works in thinking of all I can accomplish! I’ll be visiting one of my best friends in the world (who doesn’t stitch!) so I’ll be doing non-stitching fun stuff and relaxing and rejuvenating for a few days. Tonia & Cece will be in the shop Tuesday and Wednesday so the shop will be open while I’m gone.
I'll be here all day Saturday so stop by for a visit and pick up some Holiday Stitching - can you believe it's June next week?!
