Hi Stitchers -
It’s a rainy muggy day here today and I’m happy to be indoors. I've updated the website "What's New" in the E-Store for this week - The Lizzie Kate auto arrived and is all too cute for the holidays this year. “Be Naughty” is my favorite! There’s also a new Mirabilia, a great Redwork embroidery book, a very pretty “Yule Tree” I’d like to stitch and an interesting “Family Sampler” from Little House Needleworks. click NewThisWeek.
The Silk Gauze class has been scheduled for Saturday, Sept 4th at 10am. Please call or email if you’d like to sign up – there was a lot of interest at the Open House so I expect this will be a fun class. Cost to attend is $10. Bring your gauze to me before class and I’ll prep it for you. Please sign up asap - I may have to schedule a second class.
The Trunk Shows have to be returned early next week so be sure to come in and see anything you’d like to see tomorrow – Saturday. The models will be packed up on Monday…
I added more to the page on the website of photos taken of the Open House displays. I added more pictures and included explanations, stories and commentary. Get a cup of something to enjoy and Click OpenHouse
The next Stitch-In is Saturday, Sept 11th from 4 to midnight. Signups are in progress and we have decided to do a "Tailgate Party". It seems the season since football is right around the corner. I'll supply sandwiches and invite everyone else to bring something if they wish.
