It feels a bit more like winter than fall but the calendar says it's Autumn for a few more weeks. I went to my annual quilting retreat in Northern Indiana a couple of weeks ago and the several days of 12 degree weather certainly felt like Winter to me. I was happy to come home to my cold Florida weather - it's cooler than normal here too but nothing like the north.
First up, I’m offering a Flash Sale for Cyber Monday – you can read all about it on my blog. Sale prices are not reflected on the website - email me to take advantage. All patterns are 20% off and selected kits are 25% off.
Since I last wrote, I've released Ripple Rotation 2 and kits are available for shipping now.
Ripple Rotation 2 - Pattern $20, Complete Kit $112
I’m working on new designs for 2015 and on a few teaching pieces. I’ll be teaching at Needle in a Haystack in Alameda, California in July (yeah – I love this shop!!!) and at the EGA National Seminar in San Antonio, Texas in October. This is the piece I'll be teaching in California - it's called Serenity and I have threads to do more colorways but need a trip to the needlepoint shop to get them done as I like to have my eyeballs on the whole thread lines to choose colors. The pattern is not for sale - it's only available as a class.
I’m currently taking registrations for a new Mystery design that will be taught through Shining Needle Society – I’ve actually named the Mystery design “Starstruck” and am really excited as I’ve finished stitching it and am very happy with the results. I wish I could show you the whole piece but have had so many requests for another Mystery class (this is my fifth one), I can only give you a sneak peek! I can tell you it's really fun to stitch - I never got tired of it!
There are six different colorways available and you can sign up through December 31st or get someone special to purchase the class for you for Christmas – they can “surprise” you and you’ll still have time to choose a colorway. I love the emails from husbands ordering the Mystery class and know I’m helping a stitcher have a merry Christmas! You can get all the details here or forward this link to your loved ones! Class doesn't start until February 1st so you have plenty of time to be ready for it! Let me know if you have any questions.
I've updated the photos for two of the colorways - Cranberry & Glowing Embers. When I took the photos for the Mystery announcement, I didn't have all the threads available so here are the updated photos:

Hope you have a great holiday season – be sure to carve out some time for yourself during the holiday season and pick up a needle – it helps with the stress and lowers the blood pressure!
I’m putting up my tree tomorrow so I can look at all my needlework ornaments!
