Hi Stitchers -

It's a beautiful day here in NW Florida and I wish I was outside enjoying the glorious weather we're having. Of course, I'd be stitching too!

Alas, I'm indoors but I have posted a couple of Pray Trees today - we got one in on blue 18 ct fabric. The other one is our smallest to date - it's stitched on 32 ct linen over one thread. Both are beautiful and you can see them at

If you're stitching a Pray Tree, November 30 is the cutoff date to bring your stitched trees in to be finished in time to send the finished ornaments to our stitchers in New Orleans & Mississippi. We plan to send them out the first week in December. We'll continue to take Pray Trees after this date and will distribute them to other stitchers who suffer a devastating loss. Unfortunately, we know too well that there will more hurricanes next year.

November 30th is also the last day to bring in stitching supplies or stash to donate for the Stitchers who have lost their supplies. If you haven't cleaned out that closet yet, you still have time!

Be sure to enjoy the weekend, pick up a needle, and come see us in the shop. Tomorrow is a rare day with no Saturday morning class so please come keep us company! If you want to bring a stitching project and hang out, grab a friend or two and come!
