The tree we set up at the Open House filled with stitched ornaments!

This is the first thing you see when you walk into the shop. Of course, for the Open House, it's all decorated for Christmas but we change it often.

Tiny Tidings - Lizzie Kate I stitched this about 12 years ago but for the bear lover in me, it's timeless. It's hung on my personal tree for years! Lizzie Kate continues to produce an annual Tiny Tidings pattern and they are always popular.

Merry Chrismoose - another pattern from a Lizzie Kate Tiny Tidings pattern - I forget the number but can easily look it up!

An ornament from JBW - I had my eye on this for over a year before I sat down and stitched it one evening before the Open House! It's a tree made up from the alphabet

Merry Stitches - Homespun Elegance I love this cute, quick to stitch ornament! The pattern even included the tinsel garland like trim!

This year's Homespun Elegance Santa ornament - he was fun to stitch and this definitely is my personal Christmas list!

This year's Snowman Ornament from Homespun Elegance - "Snow Merry". The original pattern showed it stitched on red fabric but I like a blue background better for snow people!

I Will Honor Christmas - Homespun Samplar I like this sentiment and it seemed especially appropriate to be stitching it in July!

One of our customers stitched all the 12 Days of Christmas ornaments from Just Nan and used their frame set. We hung them on their own tree for the Open House but have them scattered on the big tree now. They're just darling and all the patterns are in one leaflet!

Visions of Sugarplums - Milady's Needle I love this cute ornament stitched on sparkly opalescent fabric - much cuter in person than the photo shows!

A Brittercup stocking for your favorite cat! We don't normally hang full size stockings on the tree but this one is on the tree and looks great! I'm sure Mittens is looking forward to the treats that Santa will fill her stocking with on Christmas Eve.

Homespun Elegance - Cinnamon Stick Santa XX. This is also an annual pattern and it's been my tradition to stitch a Santa every year. My first was VIII (#8) and this one is #20 and came out last year! We have a lot of them around the shop and they remain very popular. They are all stitched on 7 ct fabric and they are wonderful "car projects".

One of the new Jim Shore Mill Hill bead & button kits. It's so cute worked up on the colored perforated paper.

Be Jolly - this is a Pine Mountain kit that normally would be too big to be considered an ornament. I like to tuck things into the Christmas tree branches though - it just works and looks great.

What's this?? Look at the photo #22

Unfold the pouch in photo 21 to see this beautiful sewing pocket/sampler. It is finished to have pockets for your stitching tools or a project but it looks great hanging on the wall. Can you believe it was stitched with only 4 colours of overdyed floss.

Homespun Elegance - another great sampler/useful piece to hold your scissors. Embellished with Weeks Dye Works wool

A hoot of a piece - I couldn't resist! The title of the pattern is "What A Hoot" and the black rims for the eyes is a pair of scissors that this thread book holds. Much better in person, this is just darling. I should have taken a picture of the inside too.

Give me the Cookie from My Big Toe - they loaned us several of their brand new models. Just Another Button Company made the large chocolate chip button just for this pattern!

Wish - a classic Shepherds Bush pattern - the buttons are just too fun

JBW's French Country Cat - work this is any color to dramatically change the appearance.

This is one of the walls near the front of the shop. The threads are Caron Collection - one of our favorites and the framed pieces are my own designs - Needle Delights Originals!

Our current Halloween Display - there's lots more in the front window but photos don't come out well because of the glass - you have to come look in person! I love to wave at the people looking at the window display - one of us seems to be in the "zoo"!

Another customer finish - Poof Hat from Ursula Michaels - she finished this as a "flat-fold" and she's considering teaching a class for the shop if you're interested in this inexpensive, easy to store "finishing solution" as an alternative to framing

A garland with many of my "Ornaments of the Month". This is a great alternative to setting up a full tree if you just want to display some ornaments.

Or just stitch your Christmas Tree - I would say it's faster than setting a tree up but it's NOT!! Our own Kay stitched this kit from Mirabilia and did most of the beading at our Tuesday night stitching. We all cheered with her when the last bead was sewed on! We should have a new Christmas Tree 2008 from Mirabilia soon - I've heard it's beautiful but haven't seen it yet!

The famous "Bargain Basement Closet" - it's at the back of the shop, gets a lot of action, and is ever changing.
